About Brad

I’m a multimedia-based investigative reporter for Investigative Newsource — a non-profit, data-driven news organization based in San Diego, California (@inewsource). We cover all sorts of stories — police, health, government, border issues, education and more.
My recent work has involved the Food and Drug Administration’s import operations in Los Angeles, the battle for international trade between East and West coast ports, millionaire slumlords, and police surveillance groups.
My writing, photography and videography have been nominated for — and won — multiple awards, including a New York State Emmy Award, an Apogee award, a Missouri Press Association award, and multiple awards from the Society of Professional Journalists.
